The ACFAS is pleased to provide its members this state scope of practice grid to use as a point of reference. This grid provides the relevant scope of practice provisions for podiatric surgeons in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The grid was developed by the ACFAS Professional Relations Committee and is based on the verbiage in the podiatric practice acts in each state. Note the indication of “Silent” signifies the statute does not speak to the particular issue within its state practice act.
