Health Policy and Advocacy

ACFAS advocates for its members by:

  • Participating with external initiatives and coalitions, including the Specialty Society Insurance Coalition, Alliance for Woundcare Stakeholders, Coalition for Patients Rights (CPR), U.S. Bone & Joint Initiative, the Joint Commission's Liaison Network Forum and its Ambulatory Professional & Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC).
  • Supporting foot and ankle surgeons in providing quality patient care by seeking appropriate reimbursement, quality and safety improvements and related health policy issues.

ACFAS members receive regular updates on these and other important developments through the weekly e-newsletter This Week @ ACFAS and other information sources.
