ACFAS 2021 Annual Scientific Conference

Note: Due to current restrictions from the State of Nevada relative to Covid-19, we are unable to plan for in-person pre-conference workshops this year. There will be a virtual Coding & Billing for the Foot and Ankle Surgeon course available on May 17 for a separate 5 CME.

Virtual-Only Conference Attendees
Attendees registering for the ACFAS 2021 Virtual Conference are eligible to receive up to 26 Continuing Education Contact Hours upon completion of assessments.

CME Credits Scanning
Continuing Education Credits will be recorded electronically by scanning the QR code on the front of your badge. You must scan at the AM break to receive credit for attendance at AM sessions and at the PM break to receive credit for attendance at PM sessions.

Scanning stations will be located in the Exhibit Hall:
Tuesday: 10 –11am and 3:15–4:15pm  
Wednesday: 9:30 – 10:30am and 3:15 – 4:15pm
Thursday: 9:30 – 10:30am

Scanning stations will be located in the lobby break area:
Thursday: 3:15 – 4:15pm
Friday: 10 –11am

Certificates of Attendance and Transcripts
Certificates of Attendance and Transcripts for the 2021 Annual Scientific Conference will be available online at acfas.org after June 19.. Each conference registrant is responsible for reporting his or her attendance/credit hours to all appropriate boards and agencies requiring continuing education. Virtual attendees will receive CME by completing a short quiz for each session you view. Upon completion, you will receive your certificate through the virtual conference system.

CPME Accreditation
The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. ACFAS has approved this activity for a maximum of 26 continuing education contact hours.  

CME Credit Verification
CPME 720 – Standards and Requirements for Approval of Providers of Continuing Education in Podiatric Medicine
The provider shall perform a minimum of two attendance verifications during each day of continuing education activity. An activity of four hours or less requires single attendance verification. (7.3)

California Radiology Credit
Every hour of lecture in scientific sessions can confer up to 0.5 hour of radiology credit.
