Research Requirements:
Submit one manuscript for review to a peer reviewed journal. May be a
literature review, case study, or primary research.
Program Summary/Training Goals:
- Cover and assist
all surgeries.
- Cover clinic during
non-surgical times.
- Cover hospital
rounds as needed.
- Be able to decide
to take patient to surgery, and develop surgical plan.
- Be able to manage
postoperative complications.
- Optimize patients
for surgical intervention planning.
- Learn advanced surgical techniques: rearfoot/ankle fusions and reconstructive techniques, including tendon
transfer; use of internal and external fixation; ankle arthroplasty; management
of complicated patients with comorbidities.
