SAN ANTONIO (February 20, 2020) - Foot and ankle surgeon Gregory Still, DPM, FACFAS, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado is the recipient of the 2020 American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeon's (ACFAS) Distinguished Service Award, one of the College's highest honors. Dr. Still is the seventeenth recipient of this distinguished honor and was presented with the award at ACFAS' Annual Scientific Conference in San Antonio on February 20, 2020.

The ACFAS Board of Directors presents this award each year to recognize those members who volunteer their time, expertise and service behind the scenes to help enhance the College's mission to advance the profession of foot and ankle surgery for the benefit of the patients they serve.

Immediate past ACFAS President Christopher L. Reeves, DPM, MS, FACFAS, appreciates Dr. Still's passion and drive for service. "Greg's passion is evident through the number of committees he's served and the volunteer work he's done both inside and outside of the College. His dedication and drive to educate and help others is an example to anyone wanting to be more involved in advancing the profession and care of the patients we serve. He is the embodiment of selflessness and compassion and I am honored to present this award to him."

As this year's winner, Dr. Still is pleasantly surprised and humbled to accept this award, sharing "It's mutually beneficial; I learn things from being involved on committees, things I take back to my practice to be a better doctor for the patients I serve. I love what I do and I love being involved with the College," he adds, "The relationships I've built through the College-from the camaraderie to brainstorming on practice management or surgery to dealing with day-to-day stress-it's always a learning experience."
