Panelist & Moderator: Chandana Halaharvi, DPM, AACFAS
Dr. Halaharvi is a foot and ankle surgeon practicing in
Houston. Dr. Halaharvi received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from
Des Moines University School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed an extensive
forefoot and rearfoot surgical residency at Grant Medical center and pursued a
fellowship specializing in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Portland Foot
and Ankle Institute. Dr. Halaharvi is involved in advocacy, mentoring, and
teaching at the local, state, and national levels. Nationally, she serves on
the Membership Committee for ACFAS. Locally, she is actively involved with the Texas
Podiatric Medical Association and serves on multiple committees to advance foot
and ankle surgeons.

Panelist: Dave Potter, Psychotherapist, Certified MBSR Instructor
Dave is a retired psychotherapist, specializing in trauma
and anxiety. He is fully certified as a
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) instructor by the University of
Massachusetts Medical School where MBSR was founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Palouse Mindfulness (palousemindfulness.com),
the free online MBSR course he created in 2013, is based on the eight-week in-person MBSR class he
taught for 12 years. Palouse Mindfulness
is 100 percent free and has over 4,300 graduates from over 90 countries.

Panelist: Samantha Ralstin, DPM
Dr.
Ralstin is a second-year resident at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth,
Texas. She graduated from the California School of Podiatric Medical School in
2019 where she was a delegate in the American Podiatric Medical Students'
Association. Currently she serves as
a resident representative on the ACFAS Membership Committee.
