Manuscript Deadline is Tomorrow

Time is running out! Don’t wait any longer to submit your manuscript for consideration for oral presentation at the 2024 ACFAS Annual Scientific Conference!

 

are due by tomorrow, August 3. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by October 5. $10,000 in prize money will be shared among the winners as follows:

• 1st place $3,000

• 2nd place $2,500

• 3rd place $1,500

• Four Honorable Mentions of $750 each

Enhance Your Skills: Foot and Ankle Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery

Find new perspective on trauma management by attending October 6-7 in Jacksonville, Florida.

 

Through hands-on labs, evidence-based lectures, practical exercises, and small group discussions you will learn learn skill sets including:

  • Planning treatment for metatarsal fractures, hallux valgus, and first MTP arthritis based on assessment, imaging, classification, and decision making
  • Applying reduction techniques in fracture management with emphasis on the soft tissue
  • Using appropriate fixation techniques to treat common pathologies of the foot and ankle including (peri) articular fractures

Building on the ACFAS Comprehensive Fixation for the Ankle and Foot: A Resident's Course, this course is jointly presented by ACFAS and AO North America and awards 14.75 CECH.

The Leadership Development Program is designed to provide participants with the knowledge, resources, mentoring and networking opportunities to develop their ability to lead within the specialty while fostering the diversity and abilities of the next generation of leaders.
