Nominees for the ACFAS Board Election Announced

After careful review of applicants applying to serve on the ACFAS Board of Directors, the Nominating Committee recommends these Fellows to run for two open seats in the upcoming election:

  • Incumbent: Alan A. MacGill, DPM, FACFAS
  • Brandi M. Johnson, DPM FACFAS
  • Brian G. Loder, DPM, FACFAS
  • Mitzi L. Williams, DPM, FACFAS, FACFAP

There are two (2) seats, each with a three-year (3-year) term that will be filled in the November election. The election will open on November 15 and close on November 30. Eligible voters will receive an email with a unique link to the election website when the election opens.

The deadline is approaching to apply to volunteer on a 2024 ACFAS committee, Clinical Consensus Statement panel, or as a reviewer of Scientific Literature. ACFAS is looking for members who are leaders, thinkers, team players, and hard workers to work with the College to shape the future of our profession.

Student Scholarship Contest – Win a Trip to ACFAS 2024!

The ABFAS Surgeons of Tomorrow Student Conference Scholarship Contest will award two recipients registration and travel costs to attend ACFAS 2024 in Tampa February 1-4. Applicants must submit a 500-600 word essay or submit a 2-3 minute video answering why ABFAS Board Certification is important to them and how it will benefit their future patients.
