Research Requirements:
Minimum of two papers submitted to peer reviewed journals; fellows encouraged to present at ACFAS Annual Scientific Conference

Program Summary / Training Goals:
The fellow will:

  • Participate in approximately 1,200 foot and ankle reconstructive procedures in a large orthopaedic practice setting.
  • Gain exposure to total ankle replacement surgery, trauma, and hindfoot and ankle reconstruction.
  • Be able to attend several foot and ankle courses throughout the country and will be encouraged to present research at ACFAS and AOFAS.
  • Have exposure to sports medicine covering Lehigh University sports with Dr. Brigido.
