Research Requirements:    

  • One prospective or retrospective paper for publication
  • One case review paper for publication
  • Abstract and/or poster to ACFAS Annual Scientific Conference

Program Summary/Training Goals:

  • Extensive exposure to foot and ankle sports medicine including arthroscopy and open tendon, ligament surgery and regenerative interventions.
  • Advanced reconstructive primary and revision surgery including: multi-planar and multi-joint deformities including joint sparing and arthrodesis, allografting and autografting and appropriate use of biologics.
  • Reconstructive tendon surgery including tendon transfers and allografts.
  • Exposure to an in-house board certified orthotist and the proper use of non-surgical and peri-operative DME.
  • In depth practice management including billing, revenue cycle and marketing.
  • Introduction to ACFAS and larger scientific and industry community.
