Research Requirements:
Minimum two publishable papers

Program Summary/Training Goals:

  • Learn how to manage sports-related, lower-extremity pathologies. Understand appropriate techniques of ankle arthroscopy, tendon and ligament repair, along with foot and ankle trauma surgery. Fellow will scrub in on approximately 300 foot and ankle cases.
  • Interaction with other sports medicine colleagues. Coverage of athletic events and possible mini-fellowship in Europe or Olympic training center.
  • Involvement in research is mandatory. Presentation at the ACFAS Annual Scientific Conference, etc.
