Program Summary/Training Goals:
This program will provide both surgical and clinical exposure for the fellow during which the fellow will have his/her own clinic hours/schedule and do surgery. He/she will also shadow other podiatrists during clinic and surgery to maximize his/her training. Our program is designed to allow the fellow to utilize skills learned in residency as well as learn and develop new skills to transition to the next step in their career.

The Fellowship is a unique opportunity for the graduating resident to enhance their surgical training. The fellow will be exposed to multiple surgeons focusing on a vast array of pathology, including but not limited to total ankle replacement, Charcot foot reconstruction, reconstruction of forefoot, mid-foot, and hind foot, as well as sports injuries and diabetic wounds. The Fellow will also be exposed to the day-to-day business aspects of running a private practice.
