This September, ACFAS will launch its 2025 Compensation and Practice Survey to ACFAS Fellows - an important initiative to provide members with current, relevant benchmarking data on income, productivity, and practice trends in foot and ankle surgery. The survey will be sent to all ACFAS Fellows, and the resulting report will be shared with the full membership as a benefit.
The final report, anticipated for release in January, will include key insights such as:
- Surgeon Profile: Demographics including years out of residency, practice type and role, gender, and fellowship training.
- Compensation Overview:
- Income Breakdown by patient care, ancillary services, and industry income - insights on practice setting and ownership, Fellowship training, etc.
- On-Call Coverage and Pay: A detailed analysis of average on-call pay rates, including a state-by-state comparison.
- RVU/wRVU Productivity: A look at adoption of RVU-based compensation models, including wRVU tier thresholds, rates, and conversion breakdowns by state.
The survey will be brief and confidential, and the results will help ACFAS members better understand their own standing while supporting the College in advancing advocacy and education around fair reimbursement and practice sustainability.
Your participation is essential to ensuring robust, credible data. Watch your inbox in early September to participate in this important survey - and thank you in advance for helping shape this vital resource.
