Q: I don’t see any information about uploading poster PDFs?
A: New for 2026 – Judges will be reviewing detailed abstracts. We have simplified the process and moved to a single step for authors: Submit your detailed abstract and upload your tables/images. If your abstract is accepted, then you will be required to print and bring your poster for installation and display the Annual Scientific Conference.
To upload your graphs/charts/images you will need to save them all in a single PDF (which can extend over several pages if need be). Once you have saved your abstract, you will then see the upload box appear at the top of the page.
Q: Is there a limit to how many posters I can submit?
A: No!
Q: How do I know if my poster abstract has been accepted or declined?
A: An email will be sent to the correspondent author notifying them that the poster has been accepted or declined. All communication will be sent to the correspondent author – it is their responsibility to communicate the outcome (and any other information) to the group of authors.
Q: I see there is a 500-word limit for the final abstract submission – does this include any tables that may be included?
A: No, the 500-word limit is for the main body of work.
Q: My abstract has been accepted – can I make edits?
A: No edits will be made to abstracts after the submission deadline. All titles, authors, their credentials, disclosures, data, results and conclusions should be complete and up to date at the time of submission. The information in the abstract submission will be listed in the conference app as submitted by the corresponding author.
Q: My poster has been accepted for display at the conference – Do I have to print it and bring it with me?
A: Congratulations! You are responsible for printing your poster and installing it on your designated board in the exhibit hall. You are welcome to print it yourself at FedEx, Office Max etc. or you can submit it to the ACFAS printing partner. They can print your poster and have it shipped to the conference for you to pick up at the Speaker Zone onsite. Details and more information can be found online.
If you wish to ship your poster yourself – we strongly recommend you ship it to yourself at your hotel. Please do not ship to the convention center. ACFAS is not responsible for missing posters.
Q: I am a poster presenter – do I have to register for the conference?
A: Yes, you can register for the conference HERE beginning October 1.
Q: Is my poster eligible for a poster award?
A: Yes, all accepted abstracts will be reviewed for the ACFAS Top Poster Awards. All submitted posters will be included in poster tours.
Q: I still have a question that isn’t covered here – who can I call?
A: You can contact the Education Department at meetings@acfas.org.
