2026 Residents Day
ACFAS 2026 Pre-Conference Program
February 23, 2026 | 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Venetian Resort and Convention Center
Residents Day will feature topics such as understanding the importance of establishing a financial plan early to secure your long-term financial stability and success. As podiatrists prepare for the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) exam, effective preparation strategies are crucial for achieving board certification, a key milestone in professional development. Additionally, the transition from residency to practice presents unique challenges and opportunities that require careful consideration, including selecting the right practice setting, understanding contractual obligations, and continuing professional education. We will recap the agenda with a “Fireside Chat”, addressing common concerns and questions about the podiatry medical profession, and providing a platform for discussion and guidance for those embarking on their careers.
After the morning agenda, please join us in a shared lunch with the residency directors as future leaders from the ACFAS Chris Mahaffey Leadership Development Program present on various topics relevant to our profession today. Finally, we will conclude with an introduction to Coding and Billing, followed by a networking reception.
Residents Day is supported by a grant from PICA.
