Duality of Interest Policy

Adopted by the Board of Directors March 2005, Revised November 2010

To ensure that members of the Board of Directors or chairs of committees, councils, and task forces are not placed in the untenable position of serving organizations whose overall goals and objectives conflict with those of the College, it is the policy of the College that each leader shall disclose his or her officer, director, committee, or consulting positions with organizations that have conflicting or dual goals and objectives or have competing business and professional interests or activities and resign from the conflicting position or positions held in the other organization or organizations or, alternatively, resign his or her position as an officer, director, or chair of the College.
